Today, the latest Parkiza update is being released, in which you will find a sizable number of changes and improvements. Some of them were created at your request, and some of them were already on our road map We are sure that these changes will make using Parkiza even more pleasant and intuitive!
What's new waiting in the latest update?
Minor but needed improvements:
- Administrators can now resend invitations to employees and other administrators, and in the case of a building administrator, to tenants. This is an especially useful option when the first invitation gets buried under a flurry of messages in the inbox ;).
- Administrators can rename an already created employee group. When the old name for some reason does not suit, or a different naming system has been introduced, from now on it takes just a few clicks to edit such a name. This makes viewing and recognizing groups easier.
- When an email address is specified when creating a parking spot booking for a guest, all information regarding the reservation will be automatically sent to the specified mailbox. Simple and effective!
- Building manager administrators, when creating a parking area, can immediately assign it to a specific tenant. We are sure that this will streamline the entire process of dividing the parking lot and making it available to tenants.
- From now on, app users can edit the license plate number not only when booking a space, but also in the account settings in the app.
Quality of life changes:
- Administrators no longer have to wait for employees to log into Parkiza after receiving an invitation to assign them to groups. They can immediately select and manage an employee from the list.
- Administrators can now remove an employee who has an active parking booking. When an employee is removed, his session will end automatically.
- When administrators submit the integration questionnaire, they will see a confirmation of the request in the Parkiza Panel. This way, when in doubt, they can check whether such a request has already been sent, instead of filling it out again.
- From now on, administrators can also block parking spaces in the company's parking lot for user groups that do not have access to book spots. If a reservation is created for a space, the booking will be transferred to another space.
- Administrators can export the list of employees with car plate numbers to an Excel file. This will certainly make management easier!
- From now on, users will see in the app from when the building access control will allow them to enter the parking lot.
Permanent and flexible spots:
We have changed the system for the operation of permanent and flexible spots, as well as the way they're shared in Parkiza.
- From now on, all groups of spots are groups of flexible (variable) spots.
- Fixed spots are assigned directly to specific employees; this is done independently of the groups. Such a booking can be created by assigning an employee to a selected spot (from the spot editing level), or by assigning a spot to an employee (from the employee management level).
- A spot that has been shared by an employee now goes to all tenant spots groups, so any employee who uses the parking lot flexibly has a chance to book it. In addition, administrators can make a spot available on their own when they know that an employee will not be using it during a certain period.
- All existing groups of fixed spots have been automatically reformatted to the new system and do not require any changes on the part of administrators - they continue to work, except that in the new system :).
Security and Service:
- Administrators can enter the license plate number of their vehicle when creating a reservation for a guest. The number will synchronize with the building's access control. (Option available with the approval of the Building Manager).
- The buiding manager administrator can decide whether the tenant has the option to add guests' plate's numbers to the access control system.
- When making service changes to Parkiza, the administrator panels and mobile app will display a maintenance notice. As always, we will inform you of planned interruptions by email.
- We have introduced a notification confirming the submission of a parking spot issue directly from the mobile app. From now on, employees will be sure that their notification was sent correctly.
- Administrators can decide whether a group of employees should see the booking confirmation button with a QR code scan.
Infrastructure Audit and Repair Work:
We have corrected minor bugs, including a message with bad values appearing when changing license plates, a malfunctioning calendar when sharing space, or errors related to camera performance. On top of that, we've updated the warnings in the Admin Panel, and made a number of other minor changes, including User Experience changes, making Parkiza even better! Regular audits and repair work guarantee the highest quality of our services.
